Communities exist because of the members that join them. A strong member community comes from ensuring engagement with the community is authentic and the events and interactions that these organizations deliver, not only foster a better community but help it grow.
To help associations and chambers of commerce in Malaysia better engage with their communities, Glue Up hosted a panel discussion on August 14th, 2018 at American Chamber of Commerce Malaysia Executive office. The event brought together leaders of associations, chambers, non-profits and other member-based organizations to share the best practices and techniques to engage better with members, increase retention rates, improve the operations of the organizations and drive better results for stakeholders.
We would like to thank all the valuable speakers: Dr. Yeoh Oon Tean, CEO of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers; Leo Salazar, CEO of BRIL Solutions and TSM Business School MBA Marketing Manager at the University of Twente; and Farida Aman, Head of Bumiputera Development at SME International Trade Association of Malaysia (SMiTA). We would also like to thank American Chamber of Commerce Malaysia for all their help and support with this event. It wouldn't be possible to host this event without them.
