As the oldest member-based organization in Africa, Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry prides itself on its ability to stay relevant and contemporary in an ever-changing world. They are involved in a wide array of services ranging from advocacy to networking and information. Initially, Cape Chamber stored their data on spreadsheets and did not have a CRM. This made processes a bit dangerous and took longer than they would’ve liked. Managing their members and events needed to be optimized in order to keep up with their growth and global changes. During the 2019 World Chamber Conference in Brazil Cape Chamber discovered Glue Up's all-in-one community engagement CRM used by hundreds of chambers of commerce.

They soon realized it “ticked all the boxes we wanted from a CRM solution.” They were especially attracted to “the digitization aspect of the platform, especially given that so much of our interaction during COVID has been digital.” Glue Up’s ability to digitalize processes pertaining to event management has “been easy to use and keep track of attendees and events. It has also made reporting much easier.”
